Appeal for Witnesses After Man Found with Serious Injuries in Swindon

Police in Swindon are appealing for witnesses after a man was found with serious injuries late last night on Cirencester Way.

At around 10:55 pm on 22nd October, officers responded to a report of a pedestrian collapsed in lane one of Cirencester Way, heading towards the Transfer Bridges Roundabout.

The victim, a man in his 50s, was discovered with significant head injuries and was quickly transported to hospital, where his condition remains life-threatening.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of his injuries, and a cordon was initially set up to allow officers to investigate the scene. The road has since reopened, but police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information that could help their investigation to come forward.

Wiltshire Police have confirmed they are keeping an open mind as to what may have occurred and are asking anyone with relevant details to contact them immediately.
