Police are appealing for information following a fire at the Webbswood Stadium complex, which has caused significant damage to equipment used by Swindon Supermarine Youth Football Club.
The incident occurred on 28th August at approximately 2:30 pm when a fire, believed to be deliberately started, broke out between two metal containers at the site.
The blaze quickly spread to the containers, resulting in around £8,000 worth of damage to kit and equipment. Four young males, believed to be in their early to mid-teens, were spotted fleeing the scene in the direction of Sevenhampton, running towards nearby woods. The youths are described as slim in build, wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and navy blue or black hoodies.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. Enquiries into the fire are ongoing, and those who can assist are asked to contact police on 101, quoting the reference number 54240101442.
