Amazon’s fulfilment centre in Swindon marked another successful summer by treating its employees to an annual summer bash at Lydiard Park. The event, which has become a firm tradition for the company, served as a mid-year thank you to staff for their hard work delivering for customers.
The gathering was a lively affair, with music, inflatable games, and even an archery range set up for attendees to enjoy. Amazon teammates were joined by their families and friends, making the event a fun-filled day to see out the summer.
Aaron Thompson, an Amazon employee at the Swindon fulfilment centre, attended the party and praised the occasion. “Our events are even more special when we can bring our loved ones along. I had a great time in the sunshine, enjoying the many treats my teammates had so thoughtfully organised. I’m looking forward to next year’s party already!” he said.
David Tindal, the General Manager at Amazon Swindon, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for the annual celebration. “Come August, school is out and spirits are high at Amazon in Swindon,” he said. “Our annual summer party gives us an opportunity to stop and celebrate our accomplishments together, while having some fun with our families and friends. It’s a real treat and a lovely day.”
