Swindonians came together over the weekend to bid farewell to the beloved SwinDogs, marking the culmination of a summer filled with art, joy, and importantly raising much-needed funds for Julia’s House.
Visitors from all walks of life headed to the STEAM Museum on Saturday and Sunday, eager to take a final look at these unique and brightly coloured sculptures that had become cherished landmarks across Swindon over the past few months.
The Farewell to the SwinDogs event, hosted at the STEAM Museum on Saturday and Sunday, culminates tomorrow night, Tuesday, September 19th, when the SwinDogs will take centre stage once more, this time at the Grand Auction.
Hosted by the charismatic celebrity auctioneer Charles Hanson, the Grand Auction promises an evening filled with art, entertainment, and generosity. It’s a chance for art enthusiasts and collectors to bid for their favourite SwinDog sculpture, ensuring that these vibrant creations find new homes while continuing to support Julia’s House.
