Ashwani Kumar, aged 54, of no fixed address, Swindon, has been remanded in custody.
He has been charged with outraging public decency following an incident at the cenotaph in Swindon on Saturday 12th January.
He is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court tomorrow, 15th January.
