This exclusive event, designed for individuals aged 16 and above, is led by the accomplished Bristol-based puppeteer, Chris Pirie, Artistic Director at Green Ginger.
Chris Pirie’s career includes the creation of RATLab, an interactive show set to tour Swindon’s primary schools in collaboration with Prime Theatre. He also recently concluded a tour with Coldplay, showcasing his puppetry prowess to audiences of 70,000 people.
What to Expect from the Workshop? Embark on a three-hour odyssey of creativity as Chris Pirie guides participants through an array of physical games and activities. Crafted to gently warm up both minds and bodies, these exercises pave the way for a journey of playful discovery.
The workshop introduces the transformative process of upcycling domestic and industrial items into extraordinary creatures. These creations then come to life through the application of three fundamental principles employed by Green Ginger’s skilled performers in their puppetry acts.
