The Swindonian does it by the book!

This is the last call for a real gem of a night that blends music, poetry, and humour into a chilled social soiree at The Tuppenny in Old Town tonight.

The Swindonian, as well as helping push, prod and promote the wonderful Festival of Literature have joined up with the event to host their own evening of culture, a sort of after party for the more studious events taking place in the day.

The Tuppenny is ideally placed across the road from The Arts Centre and from 9pm you can catch Tamsin Quin play some sultry folk-pop and Shaun Buswell in a rare solo performance after the madness of his large scale and logistically demanding Orchestra Challenges.

Your Holiday Starts Now

Between the two musical sets will be some poetic performances from  Poetry Swindon, a scattergun of styles tailored to suit all tastes.

All of this takes place in the cool and sophisticated surroundings of The Tuppenny, a bar already gaining a fantastic reputation for its wide selection of craft beers and carefully selected wines and spirits.

Join us for the perfect slightly intoxicated, high brow after party. We are looking forward to seeing you there.
