Poetry in the Sitting Room takes place on Monday 12th June: a regular Poetry Night in the Sitting Room of the Richard Jefferies Museum hosted by Hilda Sheehan and Sam Loveless.
Attendees are urged to bring a favourite poem, or a poem or two you have written yourself to share with a friendly audience. Poetry in the Sitting Room aims to be an informal and fun evening in the lush and historical setting of one of Swindon’s iconic landmarks. Anyone looking to get involved in the local poetry scene, has a love of literature or is just looking for an informal evening of social fun and literary appreciation should head along.
Tea and Coffee for sale in the tea-room. 6pm to 9pm. Tickets £3.
