Paul Merton & Suki Webster Bring Improv Chaos to Swindon

Comedy fans in Swindon are in for a treat this autumn as Paul Merton and Suki Webster bring their brand-new improv show to the Wyvern Theatre on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th November 2025.

Fresh from critically acclaimed runs in London and Edinburgh, the improv veterans are hitting the road for a UK-wide tour, promising an evening of unscripted, fast-paced comedy packed with absurdity, razor-sharp wit, and audience interaction. Joining them will be their long-time collaborator and improv maestro Mike McShane, alongside special guests, ensuring no two performances are ever the same.

Expect a night of quick-thinking games, surreal storytelling, and unpredictable hilarity as these seasoned improvisers take suggestions from the audience and turn them into side-splitting sketches.

Paul Merton, best known for his regular appearances on Have I Got News For You, Just A Minute, and Room 101, is a master of comedic spontaneity. Alongside him, Suki Webster, a founding member of Paul Merton’s Impro Chums, brings years of experience in the world of improv, having performed across the UK and internationally.

Mike McShane, famed for his appearances on the original UK version of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, has enjoyed a career spanning Broadway, the West End, and TV hits like Doctor Who and Seinfeld. His quick wit and larger-than-life stage presence make him a perfect addition to this dynamic trio.

This isn’t a show with a script – it’s improv at its finest, with every performance entirely unique, shaped by the unpredictability of the moment.
