Comedy fans across the UK have reason to celebrate as one of Britain’s most beloved stand-up comedians, Josh Widdicombe, has announced his new tour Not My Cup of Tea, running from 2025 through to 2026.
Widdicombe, known for his sharp wit and sardonic humour, is set to bring his unique perspective on life back to the stage with a tour that promises more laughs, more tea references, and far fewer production costs than Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
Widdicombe, a familiar face from Channel 4’s The Last Leg, is no stranger to the comedy scene. With a career spanning over 15 years, he’s not only carved out a place in stand-up but has also gained a loyal following through television, podcasts, and live events. His parenting podcast with fellow comic Rob Beckett, Parenting Hell, became a runaway success, leading to a live arena tour in 2023 and a bestselling book that topped the Sunday Times charts.
In addition to his TV work, including Hold The Front Page and Rob Beckett’s Smart TV, Widdicombe is a household name with frequent appearances on QI, Live At The Apollo, Taskmaster, and more. Despite his busy schedule, he’s somehow found the time to complete an almost full collection of Panini football stickers, a feat that many of his fans will likely relate to.
Widdicombe’s last stand-up show, Bit Much…, was met with critical acclaim and concluded with a memorable performance at the iconic London Palladium. His latest offering, Not My Cup of Tea, promises to be just as entertaining, if not more so, with the comedian’s classic mix of self-deprecation, observational humour, and 90s nostalgia.
Swindon fans won’t have to wait long to see him in action, as he’s set to perform at the Wyvern Theatre on Thursday 25 September 2025. Tickets are sure to sell out fast, so don’t miss the chance to see one of the UK’s top comics live on stage.
