Here Comes The George Harrison Project – tribute show arrives in Swindon this October

Fans of The Beatles and classic rock will be in for a treat this autumn as The George Harrison Project comes to Swindon Arts Centre on Thursday 9 October 2025.

The show is billed as the ultimate live tribute to one of music’s most beloved figures, celebrating George Harrison’s career with The Beatles, his solo work, and his time with the supergroup The Traveling Wilburys.

Known as “the quiet Beatle”, Harrison penned some of the band’s most enduring hits, including Something and Here Comes The Sun. His post-Beatles career was equally impressive, with twelve solo albums and the classic All Things Must Pass among his catalogue.

Your Holiday Starts Now

After The Beatles, Harrison joined forces with Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty to form The Traveling Wilburys – further cementing his reputation as one of rock’s most respected songwriters and performers.

The George Harrison Project has been earning rave reviews for their authentic recreations of his best-loved songs. Audiences can expect favourites such as While My Guitar Gently Weeps, My Sweet Lord, Taxman, Got My Mind Set On You, Handle With Care and many more, alongside archive video footage and stories about George’s life and music.

Suitable for all ages, the hit-packed performance begins at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £30 and are available from the Swindon Arts Centre Box Office on 0343 310 0040 or online at trafalgartickets.com/swindon-arts-centre.
