Following the 60,000 new tickets released at 11am today for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Premier who are producing the show made the following announcement.
With many people trying to purchase tickets, the ticketing systems are very busy. Tickets have sold out via the ATG ticketing system, but there is still limited availability via the Nimax ticketing system. Customers having difficulties booking due to any technical issues are being contacted directly by our ticketing partners to help them complete their bookings.
Today’s ticket release will be followed by regular ticket releases throughout next year, the first of which will be in January 2017. Exact details will be announced via the official Harry Potter and the Cursed Child website, social media channels and the official newsletter.
Customers are advised to keep checking the official website, as returned tickets and other late-release tickets will become available daily via our official ticketing partners, in addition to the Friday Forty. Seats will also become available through all performance dates due to customer returns and cancelled bookings made by touts, which we have identified on our system and returned to be purchased by our customers.
For all performances, every Friday ‘The Friday Forty’ takes place at 1pm when 40 tickets are released for every performance the following week for some of the very best seats in the theatre www.harrypottertheplay.com/ticket-information
We continue our policy of policing the secondary market to protect and educate our customers and we are making significant progress. As Producers there is only so much we can do without the Government enforcing the current legislation along with bringing in stronger measures to target touts on the secondary market specifically. We are adding our voice to the significant pressure from the Entertainment Industry to raise awareness of this issue and make this a key priority.
