Swindon’s Wyvern Theatre is set to captivate audiences next spring with Ghost: The Musical, a thrilling adaptation of the iconic 1990 film Ghost.
For the first time ever, the haunting love story will take to the Wyvern stage from Wednesday 23rd to Saturday 26th April 2025, promising to bring all the chills, romance, and intrigue that made the original film a cinematic classic.
The storyline follows Sam and Molly, a young couple whose love endures beyond the realms of life and death. After Sam’s tragic murder, he finds himself trapped in a supernatural limbo, desperately trying to communicate with Molly to protect her from an impending danger. Enlisting the unlikely help of a storefront psychic, Sam attempts to bridge the gap between life and the afterlife, delivering a story both suspenseful and heart-wrenching.
The musical is adapted by Oscar-winning screenwriter Bruce Joel Rubin, and it brings to life iconic songs, including The Righteous Brothers’ timeless Unchained Melody. Co-written by Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart, the score adds fresh dimension to this supernatural romance, which enchanted audiences worldwide on screen.
