Exciting Changes as Fandangos Productions Takes the Helm of WrdeUp Music Festival in 2024

WrdeUp Music Festival has announced that it has completed the sale of the event to Fandangos Productions Ltd.

Chris Laken, Director of WrdeUp Music Festival CIC, highlighted the increasing challenges faced by the volunteer committee in managing the rising costs of the festival. The decision to pass the baton to Fandangos Productions ensures the event’s continuity and potential growth as Highworth’s premier garden party.

Laken expressed confidence in the transition, stating, “The opportunity to work with Tom, a local Highworthian, and have his production company take the event on allows the festival to continue and grow as Highworth’s biggest garden party. As someone we have worked closely with over the past decade, this means the festival will be in good hands and with someone who understands the origins and ethos of the event.”
