In the green space between Abbey Park and Redhouse, the historic St Andrew’s Church in North Swindon is set to host a spectacular “Concert for a Summer Evening” on Tuesday, 18th June at 7pm.
This event will feature the talented young tenor, Gregory Steward, a classically trained professional singer, who is returning by popular demand after an outstanding performance last year.
Gregory, a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with First Class Honours, was also a vocal and trumpet scholar at Wells Cathedral School, showcasing his exceptional musical prowess.
The event promises a delightful array of classical and popular favourites, including “Some Enchanted Evening,” “The Impossible Dream,” “Granada,” “La donna è mobile,” and “Funiculi Funicula,” among many others.
Tickets are priced at £12, with free entry for those under 18. Refreshments will be available during the interval.
Tickets can be purchased online, directly at the church, by emailing publicity@nschurch.org.uk to reserve, or at the door on the night of the event.
