Creamfields prepares to celebrate 20 years at Daresbury with 250-plus electronic acts

There are less than two weeks to go until Creamfields returns to Daresbury for a very special anniversary edition of the festival.

Pepsi MAX presents Creamfields 2026 will take place from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 August, with more than 250 names from across the electronic music world heading to Cheshire for the August Bank Holiday weekend.

This year’s festival marks 20 years of Creamfields at Daresbury, with organisers expecting around 80,000 people to make the journey across the four days.

Among the biggest names on this year’s bill are Swedish House Mafia, Disclosure (Live), Calvin Harris, Faithless, Underworld, Carl Cox, Martin Garrix, Paul Oakenfold, Becky Hill, Tiësto, Andy C, Pete Tong and Armand Van Helden.

There will also be UK festival exclusives from Swedish House Mafia, Amelie Lens presents AURA and Disclosure (Live), alongside sets and performances from Sonny Fodera, Duke Dumont, Patrick Topping and many more.

For a festival that has spent two decades at Daresbury, there is plenty of history behind the weekend. The site has become synonymous with some of the biggest moments in British dance music, while Creamfields itself has grown into one of the world’s best-known electronic music festivals.

The music remains the main attraction, but there is plenty going on away from the stages too.

Downtown will return for its second year, having proved popular following its launch in 2025. The expanded area will feature an on-site gym, padel courts, five-a-side football, wellness classes and pampering, alongside a few secret sets for those who happen to be in the right place at the right time.

With the festival now only a fortnight away, the countdown is firmly under way.

Twenty years after Creamfields first made Daresbury its home, the 2026 edition looks set to bring together several generations of dance music fans for four days of big names, big stages and plenty of noise.
