The magic of pantomime has officially landed in Swindon as the Wyvern Theatre prepares to host its 2024 production of Cinderella. This week, the enchanting cast took a trip to Roves Farm for a pumpkin-filled photoshoot that could have come straight out of a fairy tale.
With autumn’s vibrant hues as a backdrop, the cast were in high spirits as they gathered for the launch, dressed in their colourful costumes. Among them was the star of this year’s show, Coronation Street’s very own Lisa George, who takes on the role of the Fairy Godmother. Alongside her were Swindon Panto veteran David Ashley as the hilarious Dame Molly Miggins, Ben Goffe as the loveable Buttons, Maisie Scarlett as Cinderella, and Jack Malin as Prince Charming.

The photoshoot itself was nothing short of magical, with the cast posing amongst pumpkins and enjoying the rustic charm of Roves Farm. Lisa George, in true Fairy Godmother fashion, was ready to turn those pumpkins into a glittering carriage, while the rest of the cast took in everything the farm had to offer. From a scenic tractor ride to meeting the friendly farm animals, the day was filled with laughter and fun as the cast got into the panto spirit.
Wyvern Theatre’s Cinderella promises to be a dazzling treat for the whole family, packed with side-splitting comedy, singalong musical numbers, and plenty of audience participation. Whether you’re rooting for Cinderella or booing the wicked stepsisters, this show is sure to delight young and old alike.

The clock is ticking, so make sure you don your finest attire and grab your tickets to the ball before they’re gone! Cinderella runs from Saturday, 7th December 2024 to Sunday, 5th January 2025 and is proudly sponsored by Swindon Travel Hub.
