Swindon is set to welcome one of Britain’s most fearless and refreshingly honest comedians this autumn, as Cally Beaton brings her brand-new nationwide tour Namaste Motherfckers* to the Swindon Arts Centre on Monday 3rd November.
Known for her razor-sharp wit, intelligent humour and no-nonsense approach to life, Beaton’s latest show is a riotous celebration of midlife – warts, wrinkles and all. It combines stand-up, storytelling, and candid moments drawn from her own experiences, as well as excerpts from her forthcoming book of the same name, due for release in July 2025.
At the heart of Namaste Motherfckers* lies Cally’s own remarkable story of reinvention. Once a senior executive at global media companies, she found herself unexpectedly nudged towards the world of comedy following a chance encounter with the late, great Joan Rivers during her time at Comedy Central. From boardrooms to sold-out auditoriums, Beaton’s journey is proof that it’s never too late to shake up your life — even when you feel like a hot mess.
The show is far from just a standard stand-up routine. With her trademark acerbic humour and fearless honesty, Beaton takes a deeply personal dive into what it means to be a woman navigating middle age, while also offering insights drawn from her hugely popular podcast — which has attracted a massive following online, clocking up over 100 million views on Instagram alone.
As well as a full evening of laughter, audiences in Swindon can also look forward to a Q&A session and a meet-and-greet with Cally herself after the performance. There’s even the chance that Jeff the wonder dog may make an appearance, adding an extra touch of charm to the evening.
