Swindon’s Wyvern Theatre is set to welcome one of the UK’s finest one-liner comedians, Mark Simmons, as he brings his brand-new tour Jest to Impress to town on 20th February 2026.
Known for his razor-sharp wit and lightning-fast quips, Simmons has become a firm favourite on the stand-up circuit, winning accolades including Dave’s Funniest Joke of the Fringe in 2024. His debut tour, Quip Off the Mark, was a three-year success story, with over 215 performances spanning the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, selling more than 25,000 tickets.
This time, Simmons is back with another masterclass in finely crafted gags, with Jest to Impress promising an hour of back-to-back punchlines. The tour is set to be his biggest yet, taking in venues such as Hackney Empire, Brighton Corn Exchange, and Nottingham Playhouse, while also returning to favourites like The Lowry in Salford and Leeds City Varieties.
