Bridget Christie, the multi-award-winning comic famed for her quick wit and offbeat storytelling, is heading back to Swindon in 2026 with her latest live show, Jacket Potato Pizza.
She’ll take to the stage at Swindon’s Wyvern Theatre on Wednesday 18th February 2026, and tickets are on sale now.
The show’s title – Jacket Potato Pizza – hints at the surreal comedy gold Christie is known for. Audiences can expect bizarre tales involving everything from kidney stones and stray cats to curious eye-themed fetishes.
Bridget said: “I am very much looking forward to eating Motorway services food again and picking my favourite roundabouts. Last year Plymouth won.”
This marks her fourteenth live tour, following critically acclaimed shows such as A Bic For Her, which won the Edinburgh Comedy Award and South Bank Sky Arts Award, and went on to become the Soho Theatre’s best-selling show.
Her 2016 Brexit-inspired tour Because You Demanded It was named The Guardian’s top comedy show of the year, further cementing her place among the elite of British comedy. That year also saw her pick up her second Chortle Award for Best Show.
Off stage, Bridget is enjoying rave reviews for her Channel 4 comedy-drama The Change, which recently returned for its second series. It’s a show that has earned her both Best TV Writer at The New Voice Awards and Best Actor at the Edinburgh TV Awards, alongside BAFTA and RTS nominations.
Other credits include Taskmaster, Ghosts, QI, and Have I Got News For You, while her Netflix special Stand Up For Her made her the first British female stand-up to feature on the streaming platform.
With her mix of surrealism, satire and social commentary, Bridget’s return to the Wyvern Theatre promises to be one of the highlights of Swindon’s 2026 events calendar.
Tickets are on sale now online or via the Wyvern Theatre box office – early booking is strongly advised.
