Swindon’s about to get a whole lot stranger this week — it’s a time warp you’ll never forget!
The legendary Rocky Horror Show has landed back at the Wyvern Theatre, and as always it’s bringing with it a riot of fishnets, feather boas, and absolute chaos to town.

From the minute the opening notes of Science Fiction/Double Feature play, the energy in the theatre is electric. The audience—many in full costume—are primed and ready to belt out the classics, shout the callbacks, and embrace the madness that has made Rocky Horror a cult sensation for decades.
This touring production is an absolute knockout. The cast brings a fresh but faithful take on Richard O’Brien’s wild and wonderful creation. Frank-N-Furter (Adam Strong) struts onto the stage with all the swagger, seduction, and sharp wit you’d expect from a mad scientist in heels and he commands the stage with every strut and smirk, while Brad and Janet’s (Connor Carson and Lauren Chia), journey from innocent sweethearts to fully initiated members of Frank’s bizarre world is as hilarious as ever.
And let’s not forget Riff Raff, Magenta, and Columbia, who deliver powerhouse performances that keep the audience in the palm of their hands.
Joe McFadden (of Holby City and Strictly Come Dancing fame) is on top form as the Narrator. His brilliant comic timing and quick-witted responses to audience shoutouts make the night a unique experience—expect a few surprises!
Of course, it wouldn’t be Rocky Horror without The Time Warp—and the entire theatre joined in, creating a moment of pure, joyous chaos that truly has to be experienced. The dazzling lighting and costumes ensured the show was as visually stunning as it is outrageous and the live band kept the party going long after the cast headed back off to Transylvania.
Whether you’re a die-hard fan or a Rocky Horror virgin, this production is an absolute must-see. It’s camp, it’s loud, and it’s unashamedly bonkers—in the best possible way. Grab your fishnets, warm up your vocal cords, and get ready for a night of pure theatrical madness.
Tickets are selling fast, so don’t miss out—let’s do the Time Warp again!
