A £300,000 improvement project to Coate Water Roundabout is due to begin this month. The work will include resurfacing, painting new road markings and upgrading the traffic lights. It is scheduled to start on Monday, 20 August and is anticipated to take nine nights (8pm – 6am) to complete, excluding August bank holiday weekend.
There will be a full closure of the roundabout from all approaches, with no access to Coate Water Country Park. A signposted diversion will be in place, emergency vehicle access will be maintained and arrangements will be made with local businesses.
