Swindon skipper Nick Morris has been declared fit for the trip to King’s Lynn on Wednesday evening.
Morris crashed twice during Monday’s home win over Leicester, and suffered numerous bumps and bruises in the second incident especially.
But after a full day to recover, the tough Australian will be back to lead the CFS Filtration Robins in what is likely be a tricky test at the Adrian Flux Arena against the fast-improving Stars.
Elsewhere in the team, Zach Wajtknecht makes a welcome return at reserve after seeing out a mandatory nine-day absence due to concussion.
Robins’ previous trip to the Norfolk venue saw them suffer their first Premiership defeat of the season as they went down 51-39 in early May.
However, they were successful on their second visit of 2017 with big scores from the remaining members of their top five after Jason Doyle had crashed out in his opening ride.
King’s Lynn are gradually gathering momentum, and raced to an impressive 52-38 win at Leicester last week before edging out Poole 46-44 in a thriller on Monday.
That meeting featured a decisive Heat 15 4-2 from Robert Lambert and Niels-Kristian Iversen, with the British Champion proving very hard to beat around his home circuit this season.
Since their visits to Blunsdon earlier in the campaign, Jason Garrity has joined the Stars to replace broken leg victim Lewis Kerr, and he is currently joined at reserve by Simon Lambert who is deputising for another injury victim, Kasper Andersen.
Swindon boss Alun Rossiter said: “It’s good to be back at full strength, especially as if Nick had been ruled out the guest options were very thin with so many teams racing.
“It was a heavy crash and he hurt his ankle, mangled his fingers a bit and lost a nail, but he says he’s okay to go again on Wednesday.
“It’s certainly going to be a tough one. King’s Lynn have a good, solid one-to-seven and there aren’t too many weaknesses there.
“We’ve got to get everyone firing for the meeting, and if we can do that then hopefully we can bring something back.”
