Swindon Speedway will be backed by team title sponsors Complete Filtration Solutions (CFS) for a second successive season.
And CFS are ‘over the moon’ to be staying on board in the club’s 70th anniversary year.
“It is terrific news for the club,” said Robins Commercial Manager Lee Kilby. “Personally and as a club, we have struck up a great relationship with Derek and Val over the last couple of years and I am so happy they are returning for a second season as our lead sponsor.
“They get involved in all aspects of the club and we talk daily about ideas to enhance speedway as a sport and specifically the Robins.
“As it always is, discussing the sponsorship package was an easy and enjoyable experience, and we’ve even agreed on adding more of the CFS influence in the visual presentation of the team which will be an exciting change.”
For Derek Baker of CFS, ‘Brand awareness is key’ as he strives to put CFS in the eyeline of watching sports fans.
He said: “My wife Val and I believe Swindon Speedway gives us the best opportunity to get CFS out there and the most trouble-free opportunity to keep CFS in the limelight. It has certainly worked well in previous years.
“Yes we are team title sponsors but Val and I are not the type to just sit back, we want to be involved, we want to help and we want Swindon to have the best chance to be Premiership champions in 2019.
“The team at Swindon is one of the best in terms of experience and expertise and we are honoured and privileged to be once again team title sponsors.
“We wish everyone at Swindon the best of luck and we look forward to the team getting on the track and ‘kicking up some dirt’ in this their 70th anniversary year.”
The 2019 fixture list is currently being finalised, and the club hope to announce this in the coming week.
