O2 have ended Boots £1 meal deal as it pulls popular Priority Moments perk.
Mobile phone firm 02 have pulled its popular Boots £1 meal deal from its loyalty scheme which has meant that on Monday’s O2 customers were able get a main meal, snack and drink from Boots for just £1.
However, the offer ran for the final time yesterday.
O2 said the offer would be ending on 20th February so it could “explore and introduce” new deals.
Customers will still be able to redeem the £1 lunch offer from other retailers, including WHSmith, Upper Crust, Pumpkin and Ritazza.
The change has already upset some customers who use the Priority Moments scheme with many taking to twitter with comments such as it’s the “end of an era” and “Tis a dark dark day”.
Some customers have already started asking the mobile phone firm to change its mind too.
The Boots lunch offer is often considered the best meal deal offered on the high street due to its large range of choices and low price.
A spokesperson for O2 said: “We constantly review all the deals available on Priority which gives our customers access to some great offers that help them to save money.
“Customers can still enjoy access to other £1 lunch offers on Mondays by checking out the latest deals through the Priority app (subject to availability).”
