Three friends from Swindon are hosting a charity Karaoke this evening at Old Town’s Steam Railway Pub in aid of Cancer Research.
The event is to help the trio, Lauren Henly, Kerenza Clements and Aimee Davenport-Banks raise funds towards their fundraising target for the Race For Life ‘Pretty Muddy 5k’ which they will be taking part in this May.
‘We are doing this Race not just for the people we have lost, but for the people who need the help, the people who can’t run this race.
‘A lot of people have lost through cancer each year and just by you sponsoring us we can help the treatment and help them have a better life. It will help the families and the friends of the people who are suffering.’
As well as the karaoke session there will be a raffle, £1 per ticket, all proceeds will go to Cancer Research. Many Old Town businesses have offered the prizes on offer.
The karaoke at the Steam Railway will start from 9pm.
