Tadpole Garden Village has been shortlisted in this years Planning Awards for ‘Award for planning for the natural environment’.
The Awards recognise excellence in both planning and placemaking.
This means that, as well as recognising outstanding professional planning work, they also reward excellence in planning-related activities such as placemaking, urban design, economic development, housing, regeneration, legal advice and environmental consulting.
Judges commented “A considered planning approach and the adoption of Crest Nicholson’s Garden Village Principles has placed the natural environment at the forefront of all key decisions, creating a harmonious development.”
The award for ‘planning for the natural environment’ will go to the team, plan or project that the judges feel most clearly demonstrates how professional planning work has been used to improve or protect the natural environment, or create the likelihood of it being improved or protected.
The winner of the award will be confirmed on June 4th at a ceremony in London. Tadpole Garden Village will be up against Barne Barton Regeneration, Bird Aware Solent, Follingsby Max Gateshead and Tresham Garden Village.
