The high street bloodbath is set to continues with Marks & Spencer set to announce the closure of over 100 stores after profits fell by 10 per cent.

M&S has already closed 48 shops so far and have now confirmed a further 85 clothes stores and 25 Simply Food units will close.

The majority of the store closures are expected by the end of 2020, with the rest closing in the years following.

An M&S spokesperson speaking to the MailOnline advised ‘no decision has been made over which shops will close and that ‘staff will be the first to know’.
