A man has been charged in connection with Class A drugs offences in Swindon.
Conor-Rhys Dhaliwal, aged 21, from the London area, has appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court today .
He was arrested in Swindon on Friday morning (31/05/19) by plain clothes officers on patrol in the town, following concerns about drug activity in the Stratton area.
He has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine) and was remanded in custody ahead of today’s court appearance.
Acting Detective Sergeant George Booth, from Wiltshire Police’s Dedicated Crime Team, appealed for members of the public to speak to police if they have concerns about suspicious activity in their communities.
He said: “We need information from the public to help build a picture of ongoing activity and we would urge residents to remain vigilant and report anything of concern to the police.”
