Following a sell-out show at the Wyvern Theatre in 2017 and multiple sell-out UK and Irish tours, the ultimate girls’ night out, Menopause the Musical, returns to Swindon on Sun 2 June with an all-star cast! This fabulous musical comedy hosts a cast of hormonal women, memory loss one-liners and innuendo-laden versions of pop classics, includingStayin’ Awakeand Puff, My God I’m Draggin.
Starring Cheryl Fergison (EastEnders favourite Heather Trott), Maureen Nolan (The Nolans),Casualty’s Rebecca Wheatley and Katherine Lynch (RTÉ’s Wagons Den), the hysterical Menopause The Musical has entertained and inspired over eleven million people across the world since 2001. Menopausal or just in need of a laugh out loud kind of night, this show is a must see for all women, though star Maureen Nolan thinks it could be useful for the poor men in a menopausal household too:
“We show that you can tackle the raging hot sweats with humour and honesty. If men come to the show, they will understand why their wife, on occasion, has tried to kill them!”
This all-singing, all-dancing comedy brings together four women in a department store, who appear to have nothing in common… However, a black lace bra soon stimulates comical heart-to-hearts on hot flushes, night sweats, memory loss, chocolate binges, not enough sex, too much sex and plastic surgery.
Menopause The Musical comes to the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon on Sunday 2 June. Book tickets today at swindontheatres.co.uk or by calling the Ticket Office on 01793 524 481.
