Only one film is on the schedule for this month from Swindon Film Society but it is one that you are really going to want to catch.

Mountains May Depart is an epic film that is a snapshot of the on-going capitalist explosion in China seen through the experiences of a single family. Set during the country’s past, present and future, it depicts the life of Tao, and those close to her, in three different time periods: 1999, 2014, and 2025.
In short it is an affecting and ambitious tale of social upheaval in modern day China.
