Since The Victoria owner, Darren Simons took over Level 3 in 2018, the venue has gone from strength to strength. A new décor, sound system and removal of all the junk, has reignited the local scenes interest in the venue. Mixed with some fantastic bookings like Reef, Quireboys and Tony Terrorvision, the venue has been firmly put back on the national circuit.
However, Level 3 has always been a breeding ground for new and exciting British and American music. Those of us old enough to remember and appreciate Yankeeboy Promotions, will remember some classic shows from the likes of Masterdon, Funeral For A Friend , Million Dead and many more.
Recently we’ve been able to see the next generation of British begin to hit Swindon upat a tour destination, from Creeper, Moose Blood and Gnarwolves to Black Foxxes and Shvpes, now we can add PRESS TO MECO to this ever burgeoning list, as Sheer Music announce the bands warm up to Slam Dunk festival on Friday 25th May, at Level 3.
Press To Meco are a classic example of anthemic, underground rock. Mixing clean, soring vocals, with a post hardcore sound, who make quite a noise for only a 3 piece.
They’ve toured academy’s with Shinedown already and will record their 2nd album with uber producer Machine, whilst hitting the UK’s festivals across the summer.
