Set in Cairo 2013 some two years after the Egyptian revolution, members of the Muslim Brotherhood, pro-military supporters and bystanders – all from different social and political backgrounds – are detained in an 8-metre police truck, while violent riots suffocate the streets following President Morsi’s removal from power. Set entirely inside the truck, tension inside builds among the detainees, while the violence in the streets outside escalates.
The film is showing at the Swindon Arts Centre this Wednesday 4th October at 7:45pm, with doors opening thirty minutes before. Keep a look-out for upcoming releases with the Swindon Film Society, and in the meantime check out their website at Swindon Film Society.
