Wroughton holds a Late Summer Picnic and everyone’s welcome

Saturday 16th September will see the village of Wroughton turn out for its annual Late Summer Picnic at the Willow-brook Gardens, Devizes Road.

Everyone’s invited to come and enjoy the community gardens at their best. Bring your own picnic or enjoy the hot and cold food that will be available.

There will be face painting and childrens’ games, craftspeople and local information stalls, teas, and music, and Community Radio Swindon 105.5 will be present too.

The event is free, and runs from 2-5pm.

Willow-brook Gardens are maintained by a group of local volunteers, who meet weekly to keep the established beds looking neat and colourful. The World War II aeroplane-style wooden seats are a favourite feature!
