According to new data released by the Home Office Swindon has the highest levels of flashers and peeping toms in the country.
In the 12 months leading to September 2016 there were 94 cases of people exposing themselves or spying on others in the town, up from just 40 instances recorded in the same period the year before.
If these stats are to be believed one person in every 2,310 people living in Swindon will display perverted behaviour which is three times higher than the national average.
Exposure is when someone exposes their genitals with the intention that someone will see them, in order to cause alarm or distress, while voyeurism involves someone observing or recording a person doing a private act without their consent.
The maximum sentence for both crimes is two years in prison.
