As the excitement for the World Cup starts to build it’s time to start thinking of where you’ll be watching the England games! Well, no need to look any further as the England games will be screened at the beautiful outdoor venue that is the Old Town Bowl, Swindon.
The picturesque venue is a natural bowl located within the Town Gardens and is the perfect setting to soak up the atmosphere as the country get behind the national football team during their World Cup 2018 Campaign. It’s a family event so all ages are welcome, with a fully licensed bar, BBQ and face painting.
The games will be shown on a big LED screen and there will be extra sound installed around the venue so that the commentary can be heard. This is definitely the number one family venue in Swindon to enjoy the world cup this summer.
It’s a ticketed event with a limited capacity which is likely to sell out quickly so don’t delay in purchasing your tickets. There are some great family offers as well as cheaper ticket options for adult ‘season tickets’ which covers all 3 group games.
There’s no car parking at the venue so people are encouraged to use public transport or use local car parks that are only a few minutes walk from the venue. The closest car parks are Britannia Place, SN1 3RA or Prospect Place, SN1 3LJ.
Due to licensing restrictions alcohol cannot be brought on to the site however there is a fully licenced bar. Flares and pyrotechnics are also prohibited.
