Mitchell Davey is the final rider to complete Swindon’s 2018 side.
And the former Glasgow rider has revealed how he will be racing alongside some familiar faces at the Abbey.
Davey has had a taste for the club when making guest appearances and is delighted to be linking up for their Premiership title defence. He said: “I know the Aussie boys from my younger days, I used to mechanic for David Bellego at one point too so I know most of the team already.
“Even when I guested for the club last season, they welcomed me in straight away and went out of their way to make me feel a part of the team from the off.
“That sort of team spirit can go a long way and I’m really looking forward to being part of the team.
“I really enjoyed the few meetings I got to do for the club last season and working under Rosco was great.
“A few of the meetings I know I could have scored more points than I did, but I always felt like he was doing everything he could to bring the best out of me.
“When I spoke to him when he was trying to sign me, he told me he could see there was a lot more to come from me.
“All along he’s just been very encouraging and to get bits of praise from a team manager like him with the experience that he’s got is pretty big for a rider like me.”
