Harry Smith has returned to Millwall after his season-long loan at Swindon Town was cut short.

Town manager David Flitcroft this evening confirmed the move with Smith spending Boxing Day at The Den watching Millwall’s 2-2 draw with Wolves whilst Swindon took a hammering at home from Luton.

Flitcroft said: “Harry’ll go back to Millwall, he’s not been too pleased with the game time he’s had or he’s not had around this period.

“I wanted everybody on my page and looking forward to the second half of the season, so Harry’s gone back and we’ll make that official.”

Smith made 19 appearances for Town, scoring three goals. Ten of those appearances were as a substitute.

His last appearance for Swindon was in an FA Cup tie against Stevenage on December 2.
