Saturday night’s The Voice Kids show saw Swindon schoolboy Lewis Blissett push for a pace in the next round with his rendition of the Pixie Lott’s hit Cry Me Out.
Stepping up in the final performance of the evening, usually reserved for the better performers, Lewis, a member of Wilkes Academy, did enough to see all three judges turn their chairs.
After telling the coaches the reason for picking the song, ‘I picked that song because I love Pixie and have loved that song since I first heard it,’ it was clear which of the coaches he would pick to take him further into the competition.
Pixie responded telling Lewis ‘I love you,’ she told him, ‘You are incredible.’
From everyone at The Swindonian, WELL DONE! we look forward to supporting you in the next round.
