Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision in Ashton Keynes yesterday.

Emergency services were called to Fridays Ham Lane at 3.10pm yesterday (4 May 2018) to a collision between a motorbike and a lorry.

The motorcyclist, a 78-year-old man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time.

The road was closed for a number of hours while collision investigation work took place and reopened at 7.45pm last night.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Phil Reece, Tri-Force Forensic Collision Investigator, on 101. Alternatively, information can be left anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
