Two charged following burglary in Swindon

Two people have been charged following a report of a burglary in Station Road, Swindon, yesterday (August 14), during which a PlayStation was stolen.

The incident was reported to us at 4.30am and following enquiries by officers, two people were arrested at 5am.

Nigel Perren, aged 44, of no fixed abode, has been charged with burglary. He has been remanded in custody and is due in Swindon Magistrates Court today.

Jade Curtis, aged 34, of Twickenham Close, Swindon, has been charged with burglary and theft from a shop. She has been released on bail and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on 26 September.
