Swindon Borough Council has announced that it has almost completed the paving and installation of the drainage channels next to the library. There are plans to grout this section shortly once temperatures cool down.  At the other end of the site, next to the Wyvern steps, they have laid tactile hazard warning paving, which alerts visually-impaired pedestrians to potential hazards.

The new bus shelters are currently being installed and will be sealed next week once the paving has been laid around them. New street lighting columns will be installed and we will continue to lay the block paving by the steps up to the crossing.

In the coming weeks we will be excavating and removing the barriered section in the road and the traffic management will change to accommodate this element of the work.
