Work on this project started on Tuesday 26 June and should take between six and eight weeks. The upgrade will allow both pedestrians and cyclists to cross Queens Drive safely at the same time.
The work will involve removing the existing Pelican pedestrian crossing and replacing it with a Toucan crossing. It will also include widening the central reservation to accommodate cyclists and resurfacing sections of the road.
Some lane closures will be in place while we work outside of peak traffic hours.
