Last year, around 350 children in Swindon needed a foster home so it is important that  more people take on the role of foster carers to support children and young people who may be going through unsettling times.

Michelle, who has been a foster carer for seven years, and Emma, who lived with Michelle for five years, talked about the difference fostering has made to both of their lives.

If you would like to find out more about fostering, there are a number of drop in sessions that you can attend.
