The first Craft Fayre run by a new group of charity craft event organisers can be found at Community Centre Christ Church in Old Town this Saturday.

There will be crochet and knitted items for sale as well as yummy cakes, handmade soaps, children’s clothes, cushions and jewellery. There will also be refreshments, a raffle and a tombola.

But it is more than just good fun as the event’s main purpose is to raise funds and awareness for Reach Inclusive Arts, an organisation that helps disabled people express themselves through the arts. So it really is a case of a great event doing good works, what better way to spend a Saturday afternoon?

The event runs from 1-4pm and is free entry, all you have to do is stroll along, join in the fun and know that any money that you do spend will be used to help people through art and creativity.
