The driver involved in a crash on the A419 in Swindon on Thursday has sadly died in hospital.
The 78-year-old man was driving a Nissan Micra, which was involved in a single vehicle collision at the Dorcan exit of the A419 northbound.
The crash happened at around 5.30pm on Thursday 3rdMay 2018, when the car failed to negotiate the exit bend to the Royal Mail centre and collided with a lamp post and fence, closing the slip road for three hours.
He was taken to Southmead Hospital, in Bristol, but sadly died of his injuries.
His family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
