Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery which occurred in Calne.

At approximately 2.30pm on Saturday 16 June, an 18-year-old man was approached by a man in Beversbrook Field.

The man assaulted the victim by pushing him into a bush and then stole £10 from his wallet.

The man is described as white, tall, aged in his 30s and wearing tracksuit bottoms, a zip-up black jacket. He was using crutches to walk and was with a boy believed to be approximately 14-years-old who was wearing ripped jeans.

PC Elliot Alvis said: “The victim in this incident wasn’t injured fortunately, but he was left very shaken up.

“I’d like to appeal to anyone who was in the area and may have seen the incident take place to contact police, or anyone who may have seen a man matching the description given in the area on the afternoon of Saturday 16 June.”
