Earlier reports of a stabbing in Freshbrook appear to be a little wide of the mark after police release an appeal for to ‘a disorder’.
The incident took place shortly after 4pm on Corfe Road, Toothill.
A woman required medical treatment at the scene for minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
Acting Detective Sergeant Stephanie England said: “We believe there were several people in Corfe Road at the time of the incident and shortly after and we would like to hear from them.
“We would also like to reassure the local community that there is no wider risk to members of the public”
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101 and quote crime reference number 54180032674.
We are awaiting confirmation on those involved and whether a knife was involved.
