In 1957, two of the most famous names in European engineering, merged to form TA Triumph-Adler which is now the largest Document Management and Workflow solutions specialist in Europe. In 2013, they set up their UK division, joining their associate company, and one of the UK’s most successful print management dealer networks, UTAX (UK) Ltd, based at Shrivenham Hundred Business Park on the Oxon/Wiltshire borders.
With the accelerated growth in demand from businesses for more efficient and improved workflows, Managing Director, Shaun Wilkinson believes the time is right for TA Triumph-Adler to further develop its growing list of regional and national customers.
To help drive their expansion, Shaun has appointed a new Head of Sales, Sean Howarth, (pictured) who is well known within the office equipment industry having worked at Danwood for over 18 years on national and corporate accounts. Since his appointment in January, Sean has been actively recruiting new members to join the Field- and Tele-sales teams. Jamie Cope (pictured) started her new role as part of the Telesales team in March and a new member will be announced next month. Recruitment for additional Tele- and Field-Sales personnel continues with a view to the team being at full strength by the summer.
Sean Howarth is relishing his new challenge: “The document solutions sector is changing rapidly – it’s no longer a case of selling ‘copiers’ or ‘printers’ on a contract. Our customers know that they need their technology to work “smarter” and are looking for us to recommend solutions that are going to bring efficiencies and cost savings across the entire document management process.”
By using a solutions-based approach, combined with TA Triumph-Adler’s award-winning devices, Sean is keen to show existing and new customers some of the many changes that are available that can improve workflow practices.
Sean suggests that market uncertainty has triggered a new focus on efficiency-driven economies. “Everyone I talk to has an element of doubt in their mind and there is a real appetite to put solutions in place now rather than in the future. They want to work with manufacturers who provide solutions that can integrate within their existing infrastructure.”
Having outgrown their HQ, TA Triumph-Adler has leased a further 1144 sq. ft. adjacent to their existing premises which means they will still be able to draw on UTAX’s technical and service support structure.
