The Trustees of the Swindon Museum and Art Gallery Trust have today announced the application for £12.7m of Heritage Lottery Fund money has been turned down.

The Trust submitted their bid via HLF South West in November 2017 and despite meeting all the criteria and with the project deemed an important and worthwhile one for Swindon there was just not enough money in the HLF pot to go around.

More to follow.
